My name is Tye, a proud Gunai Kurnai man and I am writing this letter in support of Sharon Bourke as the treatment of me while doing East side recovery it was exceptional and culturally aware of dealing with koori aspects of a program. If it wasn't for Sharon, the probability of me being alive and not dead are very real. Sharon went above and beyond to help me get away from drugs and crime and it can be said that east side has played a pivotal role in helping people escape addiction and start a new life. If it wasn't for Sharon and her staff I wouldn't be 14 months clean today, and not be on medications that keep me stable. Sharon fort to get me back on my anti psychotic medications which stabilises mee Sharon and her staff really know there stuff and I feel honoured to have done their program. East side recovery knowns how to break down the walls of addiction. And get people back on the right path in life. I really thank my lucky stars to have been helped by east side recovery and Sharon. I recommend East side and the work they do to anyone especially to the koori community. East side is a real blessing and worth recommending to anyone who wants to escape the bondages of addiction.
